Later, in other thread, we will discuss the negatives of teaching SSs (secondary students), but NOT in this thread, to keep it organized and not to be confused with postive side of teaching SSs.
here I go,
1. SSs are grown up, so when you ask a student to keep quite, he well keep quite instantly. they listen to your orders.
2. Think about the relationship with your students after they graduate. they would be your best friends in the future. and may invite you to the celebrations they do.
3. You don’t have to teach SSs the principles, they are grown up. so when a student lies, for example, then you don’t have to tell him how immoral it is to lie
4. It’s easier to be absent if you are a SSs teacher. it’s not a big deal as it would be if you are a primary students teacher. they won’t make that much noises that children do when their teacher is not around .
