London is a very large city. Millions of people live and work there. to go from one place to another ,people use one of these means of transport: a taxi, a bus ,or the underground.-also called the Tube.
London taxis are black. They ‘re big and comfortable. Buses in London are red .They are double-decker buses: one can sit upstairs or downstairs. Lucky people who find a place upstairs can enjoy watching London.
People in a hurry travel across the town by underground. Underground trains run under the ground. They are fast and they go round the city. The underground is much cheaper than a taxi and much quicker than buses. Buses are very slow at rush hours because the traffic is heavy at those hours.

Once ,when I was a child ,I was on holiday with my father. We were driving to a national park in the mountains. We had to cross a very hot dry desert on our way to the mountains. Our car didn’t have air-conditioning and the weather was very hot.
Every five or ten minutes I asked my father if we were very near. My father always said :"No, a few more hours." Then the most horrible thing happened our car stopped suddenly. It simply stopped in the desert. We were a hundred miles away from houses, petrol stations and people. We were hot ,dry, thirsty and tired.
I was very afraid." We’re going to die!", I said. Just then a car came by and stopped ."Need any help?", the driver asked. My father smiled ,"You watch films too much, son ",he said.

Read the following passage then answer the questions below :-
It is true that men have invented a lot of useful things. they invented machines, rockets and guns, too. Scientists and archeologists now agree that woman discovered one very important thing. It has changed history. They discovered agriculture.
Before the discovery of agriculture, men were hunters. They went out everyday. Sometimes they killed animals, sometimes animal killed them. Life was difficult and dangerous. Woman had to go out everyday, too. They collected roots, fruit and grasses. One day, more than 10,000 years ago, a woman dropped some grass seeds. She dropped them near her home. They grew – and the first wheat was born. The idea grew too. Woman planted roots and fruit trees. They could stay at home and look after the children.
Archeologists think that woman kept the first domestic animals. Their husbands did not have to go hunting for meat. They built villages and cities. Civilization began. Men began civilization after the great discovery of women.
